The Bohicket 5K and Half Marathon at Seabrook Island is back, with help from Bohicket Market and Marina, Seabrook Exchange Club and the Charleston Animal Society. After such a great success from changing our 10K into a premier Half Marathon event, we are proud to bring this event back to Seabrook Island.
Age group and award breakdown:
• Top three overall male and female
• First Master (40 years and older) male and female
• First Grandmaster (50 years and older) male and female
• First Great Grandmaster (60 years and older) male and female
• Top 3 in the following age groups(14 and under,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over )
This event will be Rain or Shine.
Packet Pick Up:
-Thursday November 16: 11:00AM - 6:00PM at Fleet Feet Mt Pleasant.
-Saturday November 18: Race Site (1880 Andell Bluff Blvd., Johns Island, SC 29455) 6:30 - 7:45AM
All proceeds from the race benefit the Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange Club and the Charleston Animal Society
After party refreshments will be provided on the Boardwalk.
Awards will be available post run.
All awards timing will be by chip time only.
In the event the run is canceled, all participants will have the option to defer to 2024 at no additional charge or elect to run on another date if rescheduled. If the event is canceled for a COVID related incident then a refund may be requested subject to a $7 processing fee.
will be held again at the beautiful Bohicket Marina to create a run unlike any other. Also, for 2023 we are extremely fortunate to have Charleston Animal Society join us in hosting the Run. Runners from all over the South East will have the opportunity to enjoy the exclusive Seabrook Island scenery while helping to raise funds for various charities and promoting a healthy lifestyle in addition to providing care and shelter for animals needing help and protection. All proceeds from the Run will benefit programs supported by The Kiawah- Seabrook Exchange Club and will provide much needed funding for the wonderful work being done at the Charleston Animal Society.
